Still Open To Do
There are still some things in the mainline (clean) Linux kernel that need to be done for complete Kirkwood WarpComm support:
- Time Division Multiplex interface
Challenging - but surely interesting! - MPEG Transport Stream Interface
The Kirkwood has two independent TS interfaces which can be used to stream even HD transport streams - cool feature, no driver yet. - Security crypto engine
The Kirkwood implements some security features like some common ciphers in hardware - also a cool feature, no driver yet (beginning is made!).
